There is a video posted to YouTube that shows a view of the Sun in ultraviolet light as captured by NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observer satellite. The video spans about 15 days of solar activity.
I’ve taken the video and sliced just one line of pixels from every frame (through the middle of the Sun) and stitched them together into a single image:
